Conditions of Entry

  1. Entry is subject to all conditions displayed on the booking confirmation email and at the front entry.
  2. No food, beverages or animals may be brought onto the premises.
  3. Management reserves right to inspect bags on entry and exit, and to refuse entry or remove guests for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, failure to properly supervise persons under your care, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with any condition of entry.
  4. You should consider this participation an exercise in good judgment and act in a responsible manner while using the facility.
  5. Playtime takes all reasonable steps to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience. However Playtime will not be liable for any person in respect the loss of life or personal injury to, any person, whether that loss, damage or personal injury is caused by any person's negligence (including the negligence of Playtime) or otherwise. This exclusion of liability does not apply to liability which cannot by law be contracted out of.
  6. Management reserves the right to change terms and conditions at any time without notice.
  7. Adults / carers are responsible for persons under their supervision.
  8. Any photographs, videos or sound recordings taken by you at the premises must be for personal use only. Any use, reuse or production for commercial purposes without our express written consent is strictly prohibited and may result in loss or damage to Playtime.
  9. Your image may be taken at any time for security purposes or for use in marketing materials, and you consent to the use of your image for these purposes.

Online Shop

  1. These terms govern the purchase of booking vouchers through the Playtime website. By purchasing a booking voucher, you agree to be bound by the version of these terms published on this website at the time that you completed your purchase.
  2. You are entitled to the benefit of a series on non-excludable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Except where we fail to comply with these consumer guarantees in connection with the provision of goods or services to you, or are otherwise required to provide you with a refund by law, payments made in respect of booking vouchers purchased via this Website are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash and are not available for exchange.
  3.  The liability of Playtime for a failure to comply with the non-excludable guarantees imposed by the Australian Consumer Law shall be limited:
    1.  a) In the case of goods, to the:
      1. (i) Replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods; or
      2.  (ii) Payment of the cost of having the goods repaired or replaced, and
    2. b) In the case of services, to the:
      1. (i) Resupply of the services; or
      2. (ii) Payment of the cost of resupplying the services.
  4. Booking vouchers are valid for the duration of the booking and will expire once the booking date and time have passed.
  5. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking to check-in with Playtime staff and undergo any necessary safety briefing.
  6. We cannot guarantee you or your guests will be able to complete your activities if you or any guests in your group are late.
  7. If Playtime encounters technical issues your booking start time may be delayed.
  8. Where you purchase a concession booking voucher, suitable identification must be provided at the venue. Playtime reserves the right to refuse to honour concession booking vouchers where you or your guests (as applicable) are unable to produce suitable identification.
  9. Purchases made through this website may be subject to credit card and other fees. These fees will be identified during the booking process. Playtime reserves the right to vary the amount of this transaction fee from time to time.
  10. Prices are subject to change without notice due to any changes in government charges, taxes or levies. All prices in AUD and include GST.
  11. Booking vouchers can only be purchased through this website through the use of a major credit card or PayPal. Your credit card or PayPal account will be debited at the time that you purchase the voucher.
  12. Playtime uses the DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. DPS processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing a safe and secure online payment service.
  13. Payments are processed in real-time and Playtime does not have access to your full card number.
  14. DPS have bank grade security. All transaction details are stored in their PCI-DSS compliant Data Centre.

  16. Handle your booking voucher as you would cash. Be cautious if someone offers to sell you this document - it has no official resale value and may be an unauthorised copy. Lost, damaged or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced. You release Playtime from any liability, claim or the like arising as a result of Playtime honouring a stolen or unauthorised copy of your booking voucher.
  17. Playtime reserves the right to refuse any order placed for any AMF Bowling or M9 Laser Skirmish vouchers. 
  18. Playtime reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice by publishing the updated terms on this website. 
  19. Booking vouchers are redeemable at Playtime Chermside only.

Online Birthday Party Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. You are entitled to the benefit of a series on non-excludable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Except where we fail to comply with these consumer guarantees in connection with the provision of goods or services to you, or are otherwise required to provide you with a refund by law, payments made in respect of birthday party bookings via this Website are non-refundable and are not available for exchange.
  2. We cannot guarantee you or your guests will be able to complete your birthday party if you or any guests in your group are late.
  3. In the unforeseen circumstance PLAYTIME encounters technical issues your birthday party start time may begin later than the original booking start time.
  4. The purchasing of birthday party packages and extras may be subject to credit card and other fees. PLAYTIME reserves the right to vary the amount of this transaction fee from time to time, as specified in the booking purchasing process.
  5. Birthday party prices are subject to change without notice due to any changes in government charges, taxes or levies. All prices are in AUD and include GST.
  6. Birthday party booking deposits can be paid through this web site or over the phone by using a major credit card or PayPal. Your credit card or PayPal account will be debited at the time of booking.
  7. Birthday party booking desposits can also be paid at any PLAYTIME centre by using EFTPOS or Cash. Your EFTPOS account will be debited at the time of booking.
  8. PLAYTIME uses the DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. DPS processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing a safe and secure online payment service.

  13. Handle your birthday party confirmation email as you would cash. Be cautious if someone offers to sell you this document - it has no official resale value and may be an unauthorised copy. You release PLAYTIME from any liability, claim or the like arising as a result of PLAYTIME honouring a stolen or unauthorised copy of an e-voucher. Lost, damaged or stolen birthday party barcodes cannot be replaced.
  14. PLAYTIME reserves the right to refuse any order placed for any PLAYTIME birthday party package. Management reserves the right to change terms and conditions at any time by posting the revised terms on this website.
  15. A $100 deposit is required when booking your party; the final balance may be paid on the day of the booking. A minimum of 3 business days' notice is required to receive a refund of the deposit amount.
  16. There is a minimum of 8 guests required for each birthday party booking
  17. No external food or beverage is permitted, unless in relation to a food allergy which the centre has been made aware of.
  18. If your birthday party package includes food and/or beverages, your birthday party group will either be eating in the centre's party room (in Blacktown), or on the concourse, subject to availability.
  19. You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your birthday party start time to ensure your party begins on time.
  20. PLAYTIME birthday parties run for the following lengths of time:
    1. The Level One Package will go for approximately 1 ½ hours  
    2. The Level Two Package will go for approximately 2 hours
  21. Where your birthday party package includes access to party tables, the tables will be available for up to 45 minutes. Please note that even though every endeavour is made to guarantee tables are available for adults, during busier periods this may not always be possible.
  22. The following information must be confirmed 72 hours before the time that the birthday party is scheduled to occur:
    1. Final number of guests attending;
    2. Any special dietary requirements i.e. vegetarian or food intolerances; and
    3. If you would like to order any additional platters, cake or extras.
  23. Platters cannot be cancelled within 72 hours of the party.
  24. The minimum age for children at PLAYTIME parties is 4 years old
  25. We have developed a colour system for our games based on the game type and the Australian Classification Rating. The conditions that apply to each game type are as follows
Green video games are available for play the entire duration of your party.

Blue video games have limited plays depending on the party package selected.

Red video games are adult themed and not available for play with kids party packages.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1. Gift Card should be treated like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed
2. Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise or services at AMF Bowling Centres, Kingpin Bowling and Playtime venues within Australia only
3. Not redeemable for cash
4. Not redeemable online
5. Will be void and may not be redeemed 12 months after issue date
6. Cannot be reloaded
7. No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases
8. Cannot be re-sold
9. Cash will not be given for any unused balance
10. If purchase exceeds available card balance, you must make up the difference with another payment method
11. You are liable for all transactions on your card except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by us or any of our employees

PLAYTIME ARCADE CAMP TERMS AND CONDITIONS


By registering your child for ‘Playtime Camp’ you acknowledge, and agree to be bound by, the standard conditions of entry available at www.playtime.com.au/terms-conditions and the following Playtime Camp specific terms and conditions:

  1. Bowling Centres Australia Pty Limited (ACN 003 710 110) trading as ‘Playtime’ (‘Playtime’) will conduct a school holiday program (‘Playtime Camp’) at selected Playtime Venues (‘Venue’).
  2. You may register your primary school aged child/children for any or all of the Playtime Camp sessions online at www.playtime.com.au/arcade-camp. The registration fee of $25 per child per day must be paid in venue on the day of the session. 
  3. Registrations are not transferrable and non-refundable except in circumstances where Playtime has breached a non-excludable consumer guarantee implied by the Australian Consumer Law. Where Playtime breaches a non-excludable consumer guarantee, Playtime’s liability will be limited to the cost of re-supplying the Playtime Camp services.
  4. Each Playtime Camp session will run from 9:30am until 11:30am. On the day of each session in which your child is participating, you must:
a. Arrive at the Venue and sign your child/children in with Playtime staff at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the relevant session; and
b. Promptly sign out and collect your child/children from the Venue following the conclusion of the session. If you fail to do so, Playtime reserves the right to charge an additional fee of $25 per hour or part thereof.
5. Each session will consist of a maximum of 12 children and will be coordinated by a Playtime staff member. Your child will:
a. Receive a lanyard and playcard that has been pre-loaded with 100 redemption points;
b. Play of a select range of games and compete in a variety of coordinated competitions during the session; and
c. Receive a freeze drink in a take home cup.
6. You warrant that your child is physically and mentally fit to participate in Playtime Camp. Prior to the commencement of the session, you must provide Playtime staff with an emergency contact number and notify Playtime staff of any allergies or conditions suffered by your child.
7. Whilst Playtime Camp sessions will be coordinated by a Playtime staff member, you are ultimately responsible for your child/children. We recommend that you remain within close proximity to the shopping centre or venue for the duration of the session.
8. If your child is injured, unwell or poses a safety risk we will contact you and you will be required you to collect your child within 15 minutes from the time of contact. 
9. In the event that Playtime forms the view that your child requires emergency medical assistance, you consent to, and agree to bear the cost of, Playtime arranging the administration of first aid and for an ambulance to attend the venue.
10. Your child/children may be photographed whilst participating in Playtime Camp. You agree to Playtime using such photographs for promotional and general commercial purposes and waive any right that you may otherwise have had to payment in connection with such uses.
